Enjoy Nature With A Webcam

Enjoying nature is a relaxing, educational activity. Watching colorful birds play in your Two Cranes with Lily Bird Bath or eat from your Romance Bird House can be mesmerizing, so why not enjoy them while you are away?

To keep an eye on the bird in your yard, buy a Logitech Webcam and place it safely under your roof or any dry area of your house. Once you have the perfect place, turn on your webcam and enjoy the sight and sound of the chirping birds that are enjoying your yard. You will be able to view the interaction between birds and learn their habits from up close, without the risk of frightening them. Once you get to enjoy your footage, share it with friends and family on your blog or by email.

A webcam is a great and simple way to connect with the wildlife that is only footsteps away, so install one by your bird feeder or birdbath, and enjoy the discoveries of your own back yard!

Children's Garden

This spring, help your kids create a garden of their own. This will give them something fun to do outside and get them away from the television. It will also make them feel like they are doing something special and grown-up just like mommy.

Set aside a section of your existing garden for them to call their own, or start a completely new one. Let your children pick from a few different vegetables, and let them have some hands-on fun while learning about the environment and about preparing and planting a garden. You can even make a ritual out of watering their garden with them.

Carrots are relatively easy to grow, making them a good, first vegetable for your child's garden. Plus, encouraging your child to grow vegetables like carrots may even encourage them to start eating more healthy foods that they grew themselves.

Another great activity for a kid's garden is decorating with garden accents or stepping stones. Head over to www.patiopreserve.com and let your child choose accessories they like. The Mosaic Frog Stepper or Garden Gator is sure to be a hit when placed in their very own garden.

This spring, give your children the pleasure of having their own place to grow plants and vegetables with your loving supervision and guidance. You will love their response and maybe even get some delicious, fresh vegetables!
